Scripture
Don’t envy evil people or desire their company.
~Proverbs 24:1,NLT
Quote
The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.
~Stephen R. Covey
We were driving yesterday evening and June said, “Look, there is a beautiful house setting over there that I have never noticed.” Hey, the same thing happens to me all the time. There is an old trailer setting in the woods beside Sue and Eddie’s lot. I had never noticed that trailer until June mentioned it in conversation and the next time I drove by, I looked and there it was–it had been there all the time and I had never seen it. This is not necessarily a bad thing: when I drive my focus in on the road as it should be. If I start looking at houses, then I have taken my focus off the road which is not a good thing.
This world is full of distractions. If we can attracted to the distractions, we will surely fail. We have to keep our focus on the main thing.
