Psalm 73 is a wisdom Psalm that deals with the age old delimma, “Why do the wicked prosper?” This was a huge obstacle in the mind of the Psalmist, when he looked at the present reality, he saw the wicked prosper at the expense of the righteous. This mystery almost caused him to slip. Then the Psalmist had a true worship experience and the LORD revealed to him the end of the wicked; they would be destroyed in an instant. In other words, things will look great for them and then suddenly they will be destroyed. Paul talks about the two realities in 2 Corinthians 4…Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Now, what is a sycophant? A sycophant is a mindless dupe. It is a person who accepts things without question. A present day synonym would be democrat. June told me yesterday {remember, I watch no news} that Trump said there is a 79% chance that the democrats will take the House and when they do, their first order of business will be to impeach him. This is very disturbing news to me. Gas is about to drop to $2 a gallon; lumber is very reasonable and these fools want to destroy everything that Trump has worked for. What is wrong with this country. How can 79% be so ignorant? There is only one answer: they are sycophants. It breaks my heart that professing Christians hate Trump and support abortion on demand and homosexuality. Evidently, they are reading out of a different bible. How can a person be an advocate for animal rights and not be an advocate for the rights of the unborn? It blows my mind. Some of these people go to church every Sunday and sing in the choir. Some teach SS and others get on the stage. I can tell you how many services I would attend in a church that is Pro-Choice or Pro-death: two, my first and my last. I will not listen to any man preach or teach who does not defend the rights of the the unborn.

Baby, it is cold outside. I don’t get a thrill when I feel the chill. I get an ache in my back and knees, but as Job would say, we take the cold with the hot. I have a lot of peddling to do today. I have to round up some things I need at the compound and do some mill work at Keiths. Things are coming together, I can’t complain.

Had a great visit with Randy Lewis who may come home today. Randy is better, PTL, but not out of the woods. Randy is a great conversationlist. Keep praying for Randy.

Extra/Extra

We had a great crown at our PHD fellowship last night. I think the final count was 49. We had enough food to feed an army. I ate too much and stayed up with stomach ache all night. Very good turn out on a rainy night.
